The White House is a charming Boutique Hotel set in an idyllic and peaceful location in the heart of a working farm a few miles from Brancaster and Burnham Market. Included in The Sunday Times Best Places to Stay 2024.
All the bedrooms are individually designed with ensuite bathrooms with shower and bath or walk in shower, tea and coffee, Sky TV, Roberts Radios and free WiFi.
Paint en plein air at the many fabulous locations nearby when the weather permits, or in the studio which is spacious, warm and airy, with adjacent kitchen facilities and washrooms.
Residential
Please arrive at The White House between 4 & 5pm on Day 1, where you will be greeted with tea and cake as you and the other artists arrive
Then there will be time to settle in to your bedroom and to check out the studio
Informal ‘meet & greet’ drinks and canapés before dinner at 6:30pm in the garden room followed by a delicious and relaxed dinner at 7pm - Dinner is at 7pm every evening (drinks are an extra cost)
Four night Art Breaks finish on Thursday mornings after breakfast (10:30am)
Five night Art Breaks finish on Friday mornings after Breakfast (10:30am)
Non-Residential
Arrive for informal ‘meet & greet’ drinks and canapés at 6:30 on Sunday evening - Stay for dinner at 7pm (add on cost £35, plus drinks) We strongly advise this, as it is a great way to meet the tutor and the other artists before the course starts the following morning.
It is possible to start your course by meeting the group after their breakfast at the White House at 9:00 - 9:30am (depending upon the tutor) on Day 2.
Light snacks are available at lunchtime if the group is not painting outdoors at a specific location. For those not in residence, art courses end at 4pm.
You are welcome to join the group for dinner at 7pm each evening (£35, plus drinks additional cost) - please advise us if you plan to join for any dinners
