The White House - home to Big Sky Art Courses - is set in the middle of rolling arable farmland at Sussex Farm, Burnham Market.  It has a large walled garden, tennis court, croquet lawn and enormous terraces.  This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and you will be welcome to explore the surrounding countryside, and paint where you will.

Just a few minutes away by car is the stunning North Norfolk coastline, with all its iconic villages, harbours, staithes and coastal walks.  Burnham Market, a a very pretty market town (and stuffed full of wonderful shops by the way!) is a couple of miles away, and a little further along the coast, the lovely harbour of Wells-next-the-Sea.  In other words a wealth of paintable subjects on your doorstep.

The studio is about 100 yards across the way, a lean-to airy barn attached to Sussex Barn - an established wedding venue - and students may access the studio whenever they want.  There will be plenty of tables and chairs provided, adjacent kitchen, with tea and coffee.  Please bring your own painting kit and easels wherever possible.  There will be a limited amount of easels available for students use if necessary.

All accommodation is en-suite and can be viewed online at www.stayatthewhitehouse.co.uk.  The White House boasts several very attractive reception rooms, an Honesty Bar and free wi-fi throughout the building, plus Sky TV in all the bedrooms.  We pride ourselves on fabulous breakfasts prepared with local ingredients, and each night you will enjoy a three course home-cooked dinner with a choice of wines (extra).
